About Brian Zimmerman: Brian is the CEO of Cleveland Metroparks, tasked with overseeing and managing thousands of acres of park land, golf courses, lakefronts, hiking trails, a zoo, and much more. In 2021, with Brian at the helm, Cleveland Metroparks was awarded the National Gold Medal “Best in Nation” Award for Excellence in Parks and Recreation Management, a huge accomplishment in any year, but especially so in the middle of a pandemic.
