Trebor Buck – Senior Consultant
My name is Trebor Buck, and I am a Senior Consultant at PSI. I work directly with Project Management teams using the Project Success Method to help those teams deliver faster and more efficiently. This work normally consists of diagramming projects visually to the smallest possible degree, and then using technical skills and software to project those results to the team. I love everything about this job, and have really enjoyed learning from all of the other great employees at PSI over the last year. My favorite aspect of the work is being able to see the joy on the team’s faces when they see that we have genuinely helped to get their project back on track. It’s very rewarding to instantly see the purpose of your work come to fruition.
I have mainly worked with Marvell Technology since joining PSI. It’s been amazing to see how I could provide value to the Semiconductor Industry by using my knowledge of the Project Success Method without having any prior experience in that industry. It just goes to show how effective the PSM Process is, and how it can help any manufacturer in any setting if used correctly. I have also had the privilege of shadowing one of our other Consultants while working with the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. This was a project using a government grant to design and build a technical facility on their Reservation with the goal of improving the communities’ ability to train vocationally. It was eye-opening to see our method used in a substantially different application, yet leading to an equal amount of success for the customer.
I graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science, and a focus in International Relations. Upon graduation, I commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy, and served just over five years as a Surface Warfare Officer. I was lucky enough to complete two deployments during my time, and got to visit eleven countries throughout Africa, Europe, and Asia. I learned valuable personal, technical, and problem solving management skills during my time in the Navy. After leaving the Navy, I worked as the International Sales Manager for an industrial Flow Technology company where I got to learn valuable information about business and International Trade. I believe that both of my previous jobs gave me a unique perspective and confidence professionally that I brought into my role at PSI. I couldn’t be happier with where I am, and I’m looking forward to seeing what I can help PSI to accomplish moving forward.
